Successful LM English Class Reached Over 50 Local Students

President & Founder Lucas Fonseca recently shared that one of their recent English classes reached more than 50 local students, and 30 of those students will continue learning as they transition to classes at Grace College & Seminary in a few short weeks.

The English class took place at the church, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and lasted for one month. As Language Matters continues to expand, we are excited to reach more students and to be an educational resource in our local community. The class finished on Friday sept. 10, 2021 and was a tremendous platform, not only to teach essential skills, but also to develop relationships between the Language Matters team in Warsaw and Spanish-speaking community members.

We had a wonderful class that showed up every week eager to learn. We see that often times adult learning is difficult as life gets busy for us. Seeing so many individuals committed to their language-learning process and willingness to invest hours and hours studying really speaks to their discipline and how much they value education. We are extremely happy to see how this class not only benefitted parents who attended, but also their children as they continue to see examples of hard work, discipline, and conviction, through their parents.

As a company our goal is to continue making an impact by equipping learners and future leaders with the language and communication skills they need to be successful in different environments. We see a tremendous potential in our local Hispanic community and we believe that investing in their education is investing in community development.

We are extremely thankful to our partners, supporters, and team members for making all of our programs possible and can't wait to continue making an impact by teaching language and culture in Kosciusko County and in the state of Indiana.
