Language Matters Welcomes a New Shareholder
The Language Matters leadership team is delighted to welcome a new co-owner: Arturo Fonseca!
While new to ownership, Arturo is by no means new to the Language Matters fold. In fact, he assisted his twin brother, CEO Lucas Fonseca, in Language Matters’ early stages. He then graduated from Grace College and gained foundational experience as a product specialist at Zimmer Biomet before beginning work at CONMED Corporation, where he continues to excel in product management.
Throughout this period, his unique skill set has continuously been an undeniable asset to Language Matters as he oversees finance and finance-strategy. His experience in communication and marketing will also serve the company as he contributes more directly to the company’s direction and long-term vision.
“Arturo brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive and corporate expertise to our team,” says Lucas. “His experience will help our fast-growing organization—one that continues to operate with the agility of a startup—build the scalable systems, processes, and operational excellence needed for our next stage of growth.” This work will be essential as Language Matters expands into additional states across the Midwest over the coming years.
During his first years as partner, Arturo plans to assist the team in expanding the LM client base, advising leadership with pivotal hiring decisions, and increasing team capacity. Of his new involvement as stakeholder, Arturo remarks: “I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to Language Matters as an owner. I believe the company's greatest strength is its people, and I'm excited to help create new opportunities for our team while expanding our impact. This is just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to what we'll accomplish together.”
