Job Description:

This position will be responsible for delivering LM’s Hispanic Leaders English Program curriculum by conducting weekly sessions with Spanish and English-speaking 8th and 9th graders. The instructor will prepare the lessons, compile any necessary lesson materials before each session, and teach the lessons following curriculum guidelines. He/She will submit brief reports of these sessions and student progress through Google Forms.

Temporary Position: 4 hours per week (3-month contract)

In-person: South Bend, IN 

Pay: $40 - $50 per hour

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow LM Curriculum guidelines

• Prepare for each session

• Conduct weekly classes with middle school and high school students 

• Assess necessary changes to program schedule

• Report student progress to Director of Client Services

• Team player (periodic reports of progress and blockers to LM leaders)

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: Proficient in both Spanish and English

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (preferred)

• TESOL Certification (preferred) 

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
